Theatre of Science – An exciting new workshop
The workshop is mainly for actors but is open to singers, musicians and dancers. Conducted by Jeff Tiere and Simon Turley from the UK, it will look at devising short pieces on current biomedical science issues as reported in the Indian media. It will look at attitudes to ‘science’ and ‘art’ and at the process the company has gone through, to arrive at their professional productions and the scripts involved – ‘Seeing Without Light’ by Simon Turley and ‘Still Life’ by Charles Way. They will also bring a draft of ‘Sleeping Beauties’ – the script that they are currently working on.
This is not a basic skills workshop and is meant for performers of some experience. Please send in your application with a short CV of yourself to the ID below. Only 20 participants: so apply early.
