About The Play :
Bechara Maara Gaya is adapted from Dario Fo’s ‘Accidental Death of an Anarchist’. The play is ahilarious satire and is mainly about police corruption, underscored by the play’s focus onimpersonation, infiltration, and double-talk. A fast-talking major character, the Maniac, infiltrates the police headquarters. Posing as an investigating judge, he tricks the policemeninto contradicting themselves and admitting that they are part of a cover-up involving the death of a suspect in a bombing. The Maniac’s confusing speeches leads to the police contradicting themselves, so that the Maniac, in all of his deceptions and distortions, is a precise reflection of what the play is designed to expose.

Mashaal is a theatre group formed by HDC, BITS, Pilani alumni.

Play 2 THE ARRANGEMENT

The arrangement delightfully shows a father’s concern to give his 19 year old son a gift, a gift that no father would be dreaming of giving his son. Well! He wants him to become a man; he does so by taking him to a woman ….

PLAY 3 THE SURGERY 

A dentist – I am sorry, a dentist to be, I mean he has all the experience as a doctor only that he does not posses a doctors degree .waiting for a patient to pluck his first tooth….

PLAY 4 THE SEDUCTION 

A live practical demonstration on how to seduce a woman with a little help from her husband……….
