Diet Coke Presents Chicago – A Musical Play

Set in the US in the swinging 20′s era of jazz, power and money, Chicago put the razzle dazzle back in the musical era. “Chicago” is the tale of two female stars, one fading, the other about to be born, jostling for limelight in the city’s named murderers row. The actors shift adroitly from the reality of intrigue, rivalry and betrayal to fantasies of music and dance, offering tougue-in-cheek commentary on the cult of celebrity and the scandalous lengths to which people will go to attain it. Get ready for some brilliant choreography and hit numbers such as ‘All That Jazz’, ‘When You’re Good To Mama’ and ‘Cell Block Tango’.

The musical performance is a tribute to the movie, which by itself presents a challenge for presenting it in a theatrical style format.
