Charlie And The Chocolate Factory

The Artistes Repertory Theatre has been long associated with children’s and youth theatre. Nataka is a drama course that encapsulates ART’s 25 years of theatre knowledge into a year-long capsule for kids between 7-12. The Nataka advanced course this year ends in a performance of a dramatized version of Roald Dahl’s children’s classic tale CHARLIE and the CHOCOLATE FACTORY.

The magical fable about Charlie Bucket’s adventures with the mysterious Willy Wonka have enthralled kids for generations. This modern interpretation of the book will transport kids into the heart of an enchanted world where candy trees grow on the banks of flowing chocolate rivers, where strange machines produce sweets and gum that never lose their flavour, and where everyone gets their just desserts.

With beautifully crafted sets by Nisha Abraham and Yusuf Mannan, get your kids ready for the adventure of a lifetime!

At Rangashankara
2nd and 3rd July
